Grooming:
All shampoos are designed to do the same thing – clean. However, each pet is unique and should be treated individually depending on the type, texture and color of the pet’s coat as well as the character of the skin – dry, oily or flaky. The key is to use a shampoo that does not strip the natural oil from the skin and coat or irritate the skin. The component ingredients should be safe and non-reactive to both the animal and the person using the shampoo. In special cases such as seborrhea oleosa, shampoos prescribed by a veterinarian are required.
